This book is a rather difficult but informative read for more able students wanting to gain a better understanding of what can damage our environment. Although many words are not easy, there are numerous helpful pictures and colourful photos to assist the reader. Moreover, snippets of information under titles such as Biography or Did you know? make it easier since the text is broken up into more manageable chunks. There is also a glossary to help explain unfamiliar vocabulary and a fun quiz to test what the reader has understood.
